don't bust my chops! :)

So tonight, we went grocery shopping...came home.  I started to get things around for dinner, which was going to be a new special dish I had seen last week while watching a cooking show with my father-in-law.  In fact we had talked about it today at lunch.  I asked him if he remembered the pork chop dish we saw last week and he did.  I told him I was going to make it tonight.  And he laughed.  He thought it was the funniest thing he heard all day.  Little did he know it would get funnier yet.  (side note:  I am not sure why he thought it was so funny.  But it was good to see him laugh.)

So, as I was saying...I got the pan out, poured in the olive oil and set the burner to warm it up before I put in the pork chops.  Went into the fridge to get the onion and pork chops.  Hmmm, where are the pork chops?  I know I took them out.  I specifically remember taking them out two days ago from the freezer and put them in the fridge.  Apparently I did that mentally.  Because they are still in the freezer.  Rick thought it was pretty funny when I asked him if he put them back in the freezer.  ha ha.

So it was dinner out for us.  Note to self:  I need to do this more often.  ;)
