Easter

This morning I read today's devotion in "Sparkling Gems" book by Rick Renner.  He brings up a great point how the cross has been changed into jewelry and adorned with diamonds or jewels and various other forms almost as an idol of our own.  Sometimes this makes us forget the true meaning of the cross and how dark, dirty, painful, tortuous the cross was.  When we realize what Jesus did for us, what it took to endure all that he did.  This is when we really know in our minds and hearts what Jesus really did to take away all of our sins.  Not just the sins of those that do believe, but also the many that reject him and do not believe.  Because Jesus didn't come to save just a select few, but all.  But we still need to make that choice to accept and open our hearts for Jesus to come in.  Will you say yes to Jesus and ask him to be your personal Savior?
